Is there a way or a resource to find the people who are decision makers and have the power to advance the careers of artists and creative professionals?
What's your advice or idea?
I am a "Creative Professional" living in New England. My work includes penciling, watercolor and inking. Mixed media and Digital work is currently being developed and will be available soon. Let me know what you think of anything you see. I am open to your opinions, especially if you are an artist.

Apologies to any artist! NOTE on copying, plagiarizing and studies
I know how vitally important it is to not plagiarize some elses art.
I have taken down any work that I feel I copied or plagiarized. As a beginning artist I wasn't making any money from my art and I DID NOT take credit for any work that I did not personally feel I created and produced myself.
There were a lot of STUDIES where I copied other art I found on the internet.
I have learned and grown to a point that I now make it mandatory that I include the artist and where I found the art if i am talking about it or using it as reference or using it for a study...
TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY!!!
If I can't find source for the material I usually don't use it.

HOW THE MIND MAKES MEANING
Louder Than Words: The New Science of How the Mind Makes Meaning
In this Lecture, based on his book, U.C. San Diego cognitive psychologist Benjamin K. Bergen draws together research in psychology, linguistics, and neuroscience to offer a new theory of how our minds make meaning. When we hear words and sentences, we engage the parts of our brain that we use for perception and action—repurposing evolutionarily older networks—to create mental simulations. Embodied simulation, as it’s called, is the reason why it takes time to travel over distance, even in our mind’s eye; why it’s possible for us to become better baseball players by imagining a well-executed swing; and why it’s so hard to talk on cell phones while we’re driving on the highway. Rather than merely calling up abstract ideas to understand language, as others previously argued, our brains engage in a creative act to construct rich mental worlds in which we see, hear, and feel.January 07, 2013

Sketchlog
Today I learned!
I started sketching from multiple drawing books today and for the millionth time I skipped over chapters on Gesture. As I was scanning my usual resources on the internet I began reading about the importance of Gesture. The article recommended a web site that presents you with timed models to practice speed, fluidity and timing.
Here are my results.
